Pre-Event Training Opportunity: January 13-14

This year we are pleased to offer a unique opportunity for higher education emergency managers to participate in a 2-day training course taught by the nationally recognized Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX): MGT 361: Crisis Management Affecting Institutions of Higher Education.

Scheduled for January 13–14, 2026, just prior to the workshop, this course is specifically designed for professionals working in college and university settings. This FEMA-certified course equips participants with critical skills to effectively plan for, respond to, and recover from a wide range of campus emergencies, including natural disasters, active threats, and public health incidents. By combining practical strategies with real-world scenarios, MGT 361 provides a collaborative learning environment tailored to the unique operational challenges faced by institutions of higher education, making it a must-attend for campus emergency managers, public safety officials, and administrators.
