Baycan Fideli
Director of Public Safety, Suffolk County Community College
Baycan Fideli has worked his entire career in higher education, starting at Indiana State University. He then worked at the University of Iowa and moved back to NY to SUNY Stony Brook. He has always worked with student judicial affairs; housing; risk management; facilities; code enforcement/fire safety; emergency management and now directs the public safety department for SUNY Suffolk. He also works part-time with the Riverhead Police Department as a TCO and he is ex-captain; department safety officer; pro-board fire instructor and prevention educator for the Riverhead Volunteer Fire Department. He has BA from SUNY Cortland and MPA from Indiana State University.
