Adam Helman currently serves as the Senior Director of Emergency Management for the energy services company, Avangrid. Avangrid owns and operates energy utilities (Electric and Natural Gas) throughout the northeast. In his role, Adam oversees the corporation’s Emergency Management department. The mission of Avangrid’s Emergency Management department is to ensure Avangrid and it’s operating companies are prepared to respond to all-hazards emergencies. The company does this through a robust planning, training, and exercise program. During actual events, Adam serves as the coordinator of overall response operations throughout the company.
