Bat-Ami Bar On is a professor of Philosophy and Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies
in the Humanities. She has been at Binghamton University since 1991. She received
her BA (in philosophy and sociology) and her MA (in philosophy) from Tel-Aviv University
and her PhD (in philosophy) from The Ohio State University. Her areas of research
and teaching include war and terrorism, democratic theory, political and social philosophy,
and feminist theory.
