TABLE OF PRE- AND POST-AWARD DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR BIOSKETCH AND CURRENT AND PENDING DOCUMENTS
In an effort to provide the community with helpful reference information regarding pre-award and post-award disclosure information in the biographical sketch and current and pending support proposal sections, the National Science Foundation (NSF) has developed a disclosure table entitled, NSF Pre-award and Post-award Disclosures Relating to the Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending Support, to identify where these disclosures must be provided in proposals as well as in project reports. Proposers and awardees may begin using this resource immediately to assist with completing the relevant proposal and project report sections.
As a reminder, current and pending support information is used to assess the capacity of the individual to carry out the research as proposed, as well as to help assess any potential overlap/duplication with the project being proposed.
A revised Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG) will be released next week with an effective date of October 4, 2021, and the disclosures table will be included in this revised version.
Changes effective 5/25/21 - national institutes of health biosketch and other support forms
UPDATE - May 18, 2021
Changes have been made to the Personal Statement and Positions, Scientific Appointments and Honors setion; Research Support (Section D) removed in all but Fellowship version.
Other Support Forms (Just-In-Time [JIT] Requests, RPPR)
Effective 5/25/21, NIH will REQUIRE English language copies of contracts, grants, or any other agreement specific to senior/key personnel foreign appointments and/or employment with a foreign institution for all foreign activities and resources reported in Other Support.
All Other Support documents must use updated format pages which separate funded from in-kind contributions. PLEASE NOTE that Other Support includes ALL resources made available to a researcher in support of and/or related to all of their research endeavors, regardless of whether or not they have monetary value and regardless of whether they are based at the institution the research identifies for the current grant.
Other Support forms now require certification/signature by the investigator, which should be added electronically before the file is "flattened" and uploaded to the RPPR or provided in response to a JIT request.

Research Performance Progress Report
NSF has also added a new question for Project Reports with Active Other Support Changes: On October 5, 2020, NSF added the following new question to the Edit Participants screen on the RPPR form: Has there been a change in the active other support of the PI/PD(s) since the last reporting period? If Principal Investigators (PIs)/Project Directors (PDs) and co-PIs/co-PDs select “Yes,” they will be required to upload their most up-to-date Current and Pending Support document in an NSF-approved format (see above) to notify NSF that active other support has changed since the award was made or since the most recent annual report.
