Each year, in the spirit of Two Row Wampum — Gä•sweñta’ or The Silver Covenant Chain of Friendship, the University hosts the Haudenosaunee Festival. The festival honors the legacy of the Onandaga Nation and the Haudenosaunee people on whose ancestral land Binghamton University sits.

Sponsored by the Native American and Indigenous Studies Working Group and the Vestal Museum, the festival takes place over the course of 2-3 days at the end of September and features Indigenous speakers, food, music, dance, art, storytelling and more.
