Brad Marmon, MPH, CEM, MEP

Senior Emergency Management Program Specialist, SUNY Upstate Medical University

Brad is currently serving in the position of Senior Emergency Management Program Specialist with SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital. In this role, Brad is responsible for emergency preparedness, continuity planning, hazard vulnerability analysis, and training for the entire Upstate Health System. Prior to Upstate, Brad has conducted emergency preparedness, and response operations in several industries including human services, and the energy industry.

Brad holds an undergraduate degree in Emergency Management from SUNY Canton, and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Biosecurity and Disaster Preparedness from Saint Louis University. Brad’s current professional development includes the Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) from IAEM, and Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) course completion.

Brad resides in Cazenovia, New York with his wife Liz. In August 2023, they welcomed their first child and daughter, Rosemary Lee.
