Family Orientation

Family Orientation offers families of newly admitted students the opportunity to engage with Binghamton University’s campus and understand the many resources available for our students. Students can register their family members for Family Orientation when they register for their own session on the "Family Orientation" tab in VZOrientation.

For more information and program details, please visit the Spring Orientation for Families page.

Family Orientation Session:

Sunday, October 16th from 10:30am-3:30pm. Details will be emailed to those registered.

This option is CONCURRENT to your student’s Orientation session if they are attending in-person. During this in-person session, families will meet with and hear from Parent and Family Programs, current Binghamton University students, Residential Life and Housing, and Financial Services. Attendees will be able to see campus and connect in-person with staff and students. Please note that offices will not be open for walk-ins as this session takes place during a weekend day.

Please note: There will not be a family program offered for the January 13 student session
