The following information is for newly admitted transfer students for Spring 2022 who have paid their admissions’ deposit and have submitted their COVID-19 vaccine requirements. Once these requirements are met, students can begin their Orientation experience.
Transfer Orientaton Experience:
Your transfer Orientation experience will take place in December and January and includes:
- Orientation Checklist: The Orientation Checklist, which goes live on my.binghamton.edu in late November, outlines important steps to complete before the Spring semester.
- Orientation Part I (Virtual): A virtual meeting with your Orientation Advisor held via Zoom on either Sunday, December 12, 2021 OR Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
- Academic Advising and Registration Appointments: A virtual academic advising and course registration appointment after you've attended a virtual Orientation session in either mid-December OR mid-January.
- Orientation Part II (In-Person): An in-person meeting with your Orientation Advisor that includes a campus tour on Monday, January 24 at 2:00PM. More information will be sent via email.

How do you register?
Every newly admitted student who has paid their admissions’ deposit and has submitted their COVID-19 vaccine requirements should receive an invitation via email from New Student Programs starting in late November. Simply visit the Orientation registration website to complete the registration form. If you do not receive the email invitation via email by January 3, 2022, please contact our office so we may assist you either over the phone (607-777-6393) or through e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
After you complete your Orientation registration, you will receive a confirmation email that will direct you back to your Orientation Checklist on my.binghamton.edu. Make sure to complete all necessary items to be fully prepared for your Orientation experience.
