Bikeshare, free for two hours each day

Want to ride a bike without having to bring your own to campus? Binghamton University Transportation and Parking Services has partnered with Koloni to bring a bikeshare program to campus.  There are now 30 new Binghamton University bikes located at four bike rack locations on campus:

  • Lecture Hall bike rack
  • C4 bike rack
  • Upper East gym bike rack
  • Hinman bike rack

Look for the bike hub locations on the TAPS campus map!

Bikes can go to any destination, but need to be returned to one of the four bike hubs, pictured above, when the ride is complete.

Bikes may be reserved at no charge by students, faculty and staff for two hours a day. It will cost $5 an hour after the two-hour time period. When you download the app, credit card information is required. No charge will be made for renting the bike until after the free two hour time period.

So how does it work?

  1. Download the free Koloni app
  2. Create a user account
  3. Scan QR code or input bike ID number
  4. Enjoy your bike ride
  5. Ride a bike on your way to class or around the campus community! Enjoy everything this campus has to offer.

Greenway path

The greenway project is now complete. The path connects with an existing greenway path at Pennsylvania Avenue to provide walkers, joggers and cyclists with easy access and connections to downtown Binghamton, the city’s South Side, Binghamton University’s main campus and a host of businesses, stores, restaurants and recreational facilities.
