To request an exam reservation, the instructor or teaching assistant for the course
must log on to their myCourses account to utilize our new RegisterBlast Scheduling Software.
Step 1 - Log on to mycourses.binghamton.edu
Log on to your myCourses account with your PODS username and password.
Step 2 - Select the Course
Select the course that you wish to schedule for:
In this example, we selected a made-up course. Please select the course applicable to your exam.
Step 3 - Select "Tools"
Select the “Tools” option from the left-hand menu:
Step 4 - RegisterBlast Icon
Scroll down and click the “RegisterBlast” icon:
Step 5 - Submission Menu
Click “Submissions” in the top right-hand corner:
Step 6 - New Submission
Click the white “+New” box on the right-hand side directly below the “Sign out” option:
Step 7 - Submit information
Answer the questions on the page until you reach the bottom, and click “Submit”:
Congratulations! You have successfully submitted an exam request:
The UTC offers in-person proctoring for Binghamton Summer/Winter courses at no additional fee to students. We are able to assist with both paper/pencil and electronic exams.
If you are teaching a variety of students who are testing at different locations and have instructed them to make an appointment independently, you should treat the UTC the same as any other testing center. In this instance, you do not need to make an appointment for your students. Instead, you can direct them to our RegisterBlast page to schedule themselves.
We are available to proctor in-person exams Monday through Friday between 9:00am-4:00pm
during Winter/Summer semesters (excluding holidays or inclement weather). Evening
hours are subject to availability. Students should contact us directly with those
