ALL GRADUATES WHO WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN COMMENCEMENT MUST COMPLETE STEPS: 1A OR 1B AND ALSO MUST COMPLETE STEPS: 2, 3, AND 4.

Application for Degree (AFD) or Graduate Application for Degree (GAFD)

*This is the deadline if you wish to be included in the Commencement program. Otherwise, you can file your AFD/GAFD any time before the end of the semester.

Students who are fulfilling degree requirements in spring 2026 ONLY. This is required to receive your diploma at the end of Spring 2026.

*Tickets and ticket quantities will be available in mid-March

Only graduates are eligible to claim tickets for their guests. All guests will require a ticket for entry.

 

Double Degree/Double Major Graduates: If you wish to participate in more than one ceremony, email commence@binghamton.edu to request to partcipate in a second ceremony. You will need to fill out a request form and we will review your request after registration has closed. Second ceremony allowances are based on participation and space within the venue.

 

Past Graduates: If you graduated prior to Summer 2025 and wish to participate, email commence@binghamton.edu to request to participate. You will need to fill out a request form and we will review your request after registration has closed. Accommodations are based on participation and space within the venue.
