The Binghamton University Music Department is proud to offer nationally accredited degrees in Music including the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music degrees and the graduate degrees, Masters of Music and Master's of Music in Opera. The Music Department is comprised of a diverse group of faculty members that offer courses in performance, theory, composition, ethnomusicology, and music history. In addition to offering a wide range of performance courses and ensembles, the Music Department has a unique opera/vocal studies program that maintains an active partnership with Tri Cities Opera as well as robust compositioncollaborative piano and conducting programs that offer readings and performance opportunities with a wide-range of local and international ensembles.
