Newing College is one of our oldest communities, but in 2011 we opened with new buildings, co-recreational and programming facilities. We're also the home of Newing Navy, one of the most popular and well-attended traditions in the spring.
The four buildings in Newing are located on east campus with easy access to the East Gym and turf field. We have corridor-style double rooms and designed triples.
Are you interested in pursuing a more global approach to college? Newing's academic courses prepare students to compete in our increasingly multicultural society by offering specific classes on cross-cultural awareness, global issues, communication and leadership skills. Developed to coordinate with any major, these courses are available to residents of Newing College; see a list of courses here.
Newing also has a unique initiative called COIN, intended to recognize individuals who have displayed one or more of Newing's four core principles: Civility, Ownership, Inclusion and Newing.
