The Charge
Serve as the principal advising body to support Watson College’s efforts to foster a Watson community that reflects our diverse society to ensure that its research, education, and outreach programs are accessible to and serve the widest possible range of individuals. Develop, implement and monitor metrics and generate and pursue ideas that foster a welcoming and affirming environment, inclusive scholarship and learning, and engagement and outreach in order to promote diversity, equity and inclusion. Work to increase the representation and advancement of groups underrepresented in the Watson College at all levels, from undergraduate and graduate students and trainees through faculty and staff in all departments, institutes, centers and administration.
