Counseling/student support
- The CARE Team: General inquiries or requests for scheduling meetings will be handled 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. weekdays via phone or email.
- The University Counseling Center (UCC): The UCC is available 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. on weekdays. There are also counselors available by phone after 5 p.m., 24 hours per day, reachable by calling the UCC at 777-2772 and pressing #2 from the voice menu.

Decker Student Health Services Center (DSHSC)
DSHSC is the on-campus health service for Binghamton University students operated during normal business hours.
After hours and emergency care
If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 from a campus telephone to be taken to the closest emergency room. Off-campus or cell phone users should call 607-777-3333 for Harpur’s Ferry, the student-run ambulance service. For non-emergent medical care visit one of the local urgent care centers. Students who visit a local emergency room or urgent care center are responsible for all costs incurred.

Religious and spiritual needs
The Binghamton University Interfaith Council (BUIC) is composed of various religious institutions and organizations from around the greater Binghamton area that have committed themselves to serving the religious and spiritual needs of the University community. BUIC includes campus ministers/faith leaders as well as established Student Association (SA) chartered faith-based clubs. Residential Life

Transportation and bus information
BC Transit
Broome County (BC) Transit is the local public transportation provider that has a contractual agreement with Binghamton University. BC Transit allows students, faculty and staff to ride at no cost with a Binghamton University ID. Visit the BC Transit website for schedule information.
OCCT Campus Shuttle
OCCT is a student-run transportation service for students, faculty and staff. OCCT offers transportation around the Binghamton University community with the scan of a valid Binghamton University ID. OCCT also provides a shuttle service that transports students, faculty and staff around main campus. Visit the OCCT website for schedule information.
Passengers are required to wear a mask when riding both BC Transit and OCCT buses.

The Union
The Union
The Union is centrally-located on campus and serves as the hub for student activities. It contains MarketPlace dining, the University bookstore, Visions Federal Credit Union, Late Nite events, student groups, bowling, billiards, table tennis, mail, lounge, study and office areas.
