International Students

Harpur College's Commitment to International Students

Harpur College is committed to facilitating the success of international students through advising, programming, and outreach. We work together with International Student Advisors in ISSS and the professors within the English Language Institute to facilitate students' ability to be successful at Binghamton. International students can utilize the many tools and resources available through Harpur Academic Advising, and we encourage students to meet with an Academic Advisor at least once a semester.

Specifically for international students, Harpur College has trained academic advisors who focus on working with international students to connect academic planning and decision making with immigration regulations. It is important to discuss all academic decisions with an Academic Advisor to verify how it may affect your time at Binghamton.  Additionally, it is important for all international students to also meet regularly with the Faculty Advisor in your major department along with an International Student Advisor in ISSS. Collectively we will work together to facilitate progress towards graduation and continued success at Binghamton University.
