Dave was nominated by Amanda Padwa of the Chemistry department, as a result of the great work that he and his provided in bringing the keycard, bluetooth locks and iris scan access online for the Smart Energy building.

Amanda wrote: "Dave has been a HUGE help with the keycard, Bluetooth & Iris scanning access for the new Smart Energy Building. His patience, hard work & sense of humor as we were working out the new system was a bright spot during a very stressful time. I'm truly grateful for his willingness to help, even after the first hundred requests & questions! I think the University community is very lucky to have Dave as a Bearcat!"
