Case manager hired

Beth Riley

Two years ago, Binghamton University established the Students of Concern Committee under the auspices of the dean of students to improve the coordination of services across University offices for students in crisis/distress. The committee has provided support to a growing number of students as well as to faculty and staff concerned about students they encounter in their work.

Accordingly, in January, Beth Riley from our own University Counseling Center was brought into the Dean of Students Office to work as a full-time case manager in support of the committee. Riley has already made an impact by improving our capacity to provide follow-up services and attention to more students.
