New members join Binghamton University Foundation Board

The Binghamton University Foundation welcomed the following new members to its board of directors:

    ● Beth Akel, of Binghamton, is a community leader and philanthropist who has participated in many committees for the betterment of various organizations in the region.
    ● Michael F. Lane ’89, of Austin, Texas, is head of Dimensional’s Target Income Group. Lane oversees the development and distribution of retirement income goals-based solutions.
    ● Dr. Bai O. Lee, of Vestal, is president of Lee Health Care, senior attending gynecologist at UHS (United Health Services) and Lourdes Hospital, and chairman of the Lee and Yum Foundation.

The Binghamton University Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation that partners with Binghamton University, volunteers and others working on behalf of the foundation to raise funds and maintain donor relationships. The foundation manages and invests those funds, and provides financial support to fulfill University priorities and campus needs.
