Search launched for MRC translation and interpretation coordinator

The Multicultural Resource Center launched a search to fill the inaugural Translation and Interpretation Program coordinator position, supported by the Road Map planning process. The coordinator will help the MRC to expand its services for the ever-growing multi-lingual campus population.

The coordinator will work closely with offices and departments on and off campus to bridge the language and cultural gaps for both the campus community and the greater Binghamton area. The goal of the University’s Translation and Interpretation Program is to provide well-trained and prepared translators and interpreters to help address the needs of the growing University and community bi-/multilingual population in emergency, crisis and non-emergency situations.
