Homecoming attendance reaches record high

The Alumni Association and entire campus community celebrated Homecoming during the weekend of Sept. 23-25. More than 1,000 alumni returned to Binghamton for Homecoming – the highest attendance total in the event’s history.

Signature events included a tailgate party, men’s soccer game, WHRW 50th anniversary celebration, Bing Brews and Bands and the LGBTQ alumni reunion. Bill T. Jones, an internationally acclaimed dancer who got his start at Binghamton, brought his dance company to the Anderson Center for a performance.

TIER Talks presented by M&T Bank – a speaker series offered by the Alumni Association – had a discussion about the upcoming presidential election by three alumni who are experts in political science and frequently quoted in national media. A dedication ceremony was also held for the new Zurack Family High-Technology Collaboration Center and the Zurack Family Group Study Room, both located next to the Center for Learning and Teaching Learning Studio.
