Addonisio appointed associate vice provost for administration and strategic planning

Anna Addonisio, senior associate dean for administration in Harpur College of Arts and Sciences since 2013, and associate dean before that, joined the office of Undergraduate Education and Enrollment as associate vice provost for administration and strategic planning effective June 5. In her new position, she will play a leadership role in developing a strategic enrollment management plan and assist with broad strategic planning initiatives across multiple units.

Addonisio will report to Donald Loewen, vice provost for Undergraduate Education and Enrollment. She completed an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellowship in the 2015-16 academic year and has been an adjunct faculty member since 2006.

“Anna’s strong background in administration and planning across multiple units at the University, combined with her recent opportunities to explore enrollment management strategies at flagship universities during her ACE Fellowship, give her exactly what’s needed to help develop a strategic enrollment planning infrastructure at Binghamton University,” said Loewen.

“I’m excited at the opportunity to work with Vice Provost Loewen and units across enrollment management and undergraduate education to help shape and enhance student success and learning,” said Addonisio. “My ambition is to work in collaboration with others to develop a thoughtful, strategic plan ensuring students arrive and thrive at Binghamton.”

Prior to her position in the Harpur dean’s office, Addonisio was director of finance and planning for the Division of Administration. She came to Binghamton University in 1999, after having worked in the private sector as a corporate controller and senior accountant.
