Forum members get first look at new incubator

About 120 Binghamton University Forum members and other invited guests received advance access to tour the Koffman Southern Tier Incubator during a Forum event on April 18. The $19 million incubator, at 120 Hawley St. in Binghamton, was made possible in part thanks to significant financial support from Ruthanne Koffman ’82, MA ’84, and her husband, Burton “Bud” Koffman.

The Forum event recognized the Koffman family for its generous support of the project and commitment to the community. A grand opening celebration was held June 1. It included Binghamton University officials, faculty and staff; Sen. Fred Akshar; Assemblywoman Donna A. Lupardo; SUNY Broome President Kevin Drumm; industry partners; community leaders; and members of the public.
