• Andrew Bergman ’65 Award in Creative Writing, presented annually to Harpur College students who excel in writing. The award was established by Andrew Bergman ’65, LittD ’94, and Louise Bergman. Recipients do not have to be graduating seniors.

• Steven W. Kovacs ’09 Memorial Award presented to an outstanding graduating senior majoring in psychology who plans to obtain his/her PhD in psychology. Preference is given to a student with a passion for research. The award was established in memory of Steven W. Kovacs ’09 by Joni Kovacs-Howe.
