Watson School Hyperloop Team

A group of dedicated students from the Watson School successfully competed in a second installment of Hyperloop competition. Promoted and supported by Elon Musk, the Hyperloop concept has been a worldwide phenomenon, attracting bright minds from all over the world. The 35-member Watson team, one of 24 selected from the pool of 1,300+ competitors, advanced to the final stage of competition with a chance to compete in California in August on an actual one-mile long Hyperloop track built by SpaceX. “Simple, but robust” design proposed by Watson students has drawn the attention of SpaceX specialists.
