Recognizing the impact of donor support across campus

On Feb. 21, as part of TAG (Thank-a-Giver) Day, the Student Philanthropy Committee covered campus with more than 500 green tags honoring what donors make possible at Binghamton. This visible representation is a way of thanking donors and educating the campus about how private support to the University improves lives every day.

Although specific tag locations are too numerous to list, areas highlighted this year included group study rooms, bike racks, the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development, theaters, works of art, the Memorial Courtyard, the Freshman Research Immersion lab, Zurack Trading Room, John Arthur Café, Benet Alumni Lounge and the new Kim Korean Student Center. In addition to tags, stickers were also distributed to students, faculty and staff indicating “I Give Back” or “I Benefit.”
