A fall full of activities

Tree climbing became a popular course offered by Campus Recreation.

A fall full of activities

Campus Recreation had a busy fall semester. New Intramural champions were crowned and Club Sports enjoyed victories both home and away. Trips were taken to the tops of some of the tallest peaks and paddling down local rivers.Classes were offered in belly dancing, Zumba© and Pickleball, and fitness information sessions were held on foam rolling and five finger shoes. Thousands of students along with faculty and staff participated in nearly 150 special events, classes, leagues, games, lessons and workshops that are a part of the recreation calendar each semester.

Even President Harvey Stenger joined a yoga session this fall and was joined for his morning run by some club members! While these activities are a part of the normal calendar in recreation, one thing that is new is the Campus Rec Facebook page which includes pictures of many of these events. See all the fun as it was happening this fall for yourself at facebook.com/playbinghamton.
