Adding Pronouns in the User Profile
Pronouns are linguistic tools that we use to refer to people, such as she/her/hers, they/them/theirs and he/him/his. Students may update their pronouns at any time in the myBinghamton portal.
Pronouns will be used in the following systems and records:
● myBinghamton portal
● Learning management system
● Class rosters
● Advising software
● B-Engaged
● Campus Recreation
● Residential Life
● Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development
● Human Resources
● Case management software
● Foundation
● Study abroad software
● Health Services records, health insurance
● Services for Students with Disabilities
Students may update their pronouns in the User Profile by doing the following:
Log into MyBinghamton and select the "User Profile" link on the left-hand side, then click Personal Information
To add or change pronouns click Edit in the top right corner
Move the cursor to the Personal Pronoun field and select pronouns from the drop down menu
Click Update
