Lean Six Sigma is a process improvement methodology that aims to increase value by improving quality, speed, client satisfaction while reducing costs. It achieves this by merging tools and principles from both Lean and Six Sigma and has been widely adopted in manufacturing and services organizations.

“Lean” is a process improvement-methodology used to enable the delivery of products and services better, faster and at a lower cost.

“Six Sigma” is a data driven process improvement methodology used to achieve stable and predictable process results, reducing process variation and defects. Essentially it seeks to identify and eliminate causes of error, defects or failures in a business process by focusing on critical outputs.
