Nordson EFD PRO4L/Ultimus V Dispensing Printer
The Nordson EFD PRO4L/Ultimus V Dispensing Printer uses precise air pressure/vacuum
in combination with a diaphragm valve or auger valve to dispense structures and designs.
Materials with low (<10 cP) to moderate (~50 cP) viscosity can be dispensed with air
pressure and a diaphragm valve while materials with high viscosity (>1000 cP) pastes
can be dispensed with an auger valve. This printer system allows dispensing of large
amounts of materials containing large particles on irregular and complex surfaces
with simple operating principle and mechanism. An integrated laser height sensor and
alignment camera above a 300x400 mm working area along with an automatic tip offset
calibration provides a non-complex printing process. Mixing materials in small quantities
and test dispensing before moving to large scale screen printing provides efficient
and useful guidelines.
