Emergency Alert System
Binghamton University uses the RAVE messaging system as its emergency email and text messaging provider. This system will allow you to change or remove your ability to receive emergency alert notifications. All members of the campus community are encouraged to check their account.

Mandatory 10-Digit Dialing coming soon!
Beginning April 24, 2021, you should begin dialing 8 + 10 digits (area code + telephone number) for all local calls. If you forget and dial just 7 digits, your call will still be completed. On October 24, 2021, you must dial 8 + 10-digits (area code + telephone number) for all local calls. Station to station on-campus calls will still be 5-digits.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has adopted 988 as a new three-digit number to be used nationwide to reach the National Suicide Prevention and Mental Health Crisis Lifeline, starting July 16, 2022. Customers must continue to dial 1-800-273-TALK to reach the Lifeline until July 16, 2022.
Pinnacle Telecommunications Billing System upgrade IS COMPLETE!
The Pinnacle Telecommunications billing system is complete and users are now able to login to view their bills or to make payments.
The user web interface has a different appearance, however, it still provides the same functionality. Instructions on using the new web interface are available here.

Binghamton University Information Technology Services and Residential Life are excited to announce that Spectrum University Live TV Streaming (SpectrumU) is now available to ALL students living in residence halls on campus. Over 200 channels can be streamed both wirelessly and from wired devices straight from your dorm room. SpectrumU is supported on several devices

On Campus Cable Service Update for the Fall 2020 Semester: Rescan in Order to Receive All HD Channels
Upon returning to campus for the fall semester, on campus residential students will
need to conduct a channel rescan on their TV's in order to ensure that they are receiving
all HD channels.
For those students that will remain in the residence halls over the summer, as the switchover date for the new service and a channel lineup including channel numbers develops, ITS will post updates to the campus CableTV website. Any questions or issues can be directed to the Help Desk x7-6420.
