Emergency Alert System
Binghamton University uses the RAVE messaging system as its emergency email and text messaging provider. This system will allow you to change or remove your ability to receive emergency alert notifications. All members of the campus community are encouraged to check their account.

Telecommunications supported Time Warner (Spectrum) RoadRunner services has ceased
(July 31, 2018)
As a result of Charter's acquisition of Time Warner Cable, Time Warner Cable no longer exists as a separate entity. The university has been notified that as of July 31st, 2018, Binghamton University Telecommunications will no longer be able to provide the billing and service for your (now) Spectrum based internet account as we did under Time Warner Cable.
Binghamton University/Spectrum Off Campus Internet Program Update (November 20, 2017)
In 2016, Time Warner Cable was acquired by Charter Communications/Spectrum. With this acquisition, several significant organizational changes implemented by Spectrum have had a negative impact on the Telecommunications Off Campus Internet program. Due to these changes, the Telecommunications Off Campus Internet program will only be available for those who are currently enrolled and are receiving services. The program will not be offered as a service to new customers. The Telecommunications staff will continue to work with Spectrum in meeting these challenges and hope to resume the off campus internet offerings for new customers in the near future. Those interested in establishing a new subscription to Spectrum services need to contact the company directly. Contact the Telecommunications office if you have questions about your existing account.
Rate Sheet Prices Updated (July 1, 2017)
The monthly line rate has changed from $18.50/month to $17.80/month effective July 1, 2017. The Rate Sheet for installation, equipment, and monthly charges has been updated. You can submit a service request by going to Service Request.
Shoretel is now Mitel (December 12, 2017)
New information about the Mitel (Shoretel) Phone System is available. The page will provides links to the Connect Client application, Call Center web interface, Mobile Client apps, and reference guides. Please visit the page for information and instructions.
